There are positions available for graduate students and undergraduate students immediately in the Wu lab at the Department of Biochemistry, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a background in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology or chemistry. Students are expected to work on one of the following four research areas:

—    Site-specific modification of bacteriophages;

—    Metabolic oligosaccharide engineering with alkyne-bearing sugars;

—    Integrating proteome and glycome analyses of Schistosoma biology;

—    Development of high-throughput fluorogenic assays for probing glycosyltransferase activity;

Candidates who are interested in the graduate assistant positions need to be accepted into the Einstein graduate program or MD/PhD program, see http://www.aecom.yu.edu/home/admissions.asp
