Proteomics Analysis Course The Proteomics Analysis course is offered every two years in the Spring semester. It will be taught again in Spring of 2006. Topics include: fundamentals of mass spectrometry, data analysis, bioinformatics, protein strategies, interfacing proteins with mass spectrometers, protein identification, quantitative proteomics, glycosylation, phosphorylation, protein folding and assembly, functional proteomics, protein biomarkers Practical training in MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, mass mapping, and some high sensitivity purification technologies will again be part of the course. |
